Robert
the units are nicely decorated, themed with seating areas for guests, a comfortable four poster bed, for example.

The hotel is charming and big with very attentive and efficient staff. The room is decent sized and themed with a comfortable four poster bed. Our property is set in a central location really close to the river. The service is efficient, includes good parking.

The room was nicely decorated and clean, offering a comfortable stay. The staff at the bar were friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was simple but acceptable, with good coffee to start the day.
The noise from the bar and staff made it difficult to sleep until well after midnight. The garden was messy with empty glasses left on most tables.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the food in the restaurant was very good with a wide range of choice the bar was comfortable and had a good range of real ales - and there was a good outside smoking area with seating and heating! The bedroom we had was lovely and beautifully decorated.

The Full English Breakfast was amazing. The original rooms.
The extremely worn out carpet outside of our room & the dust on the beams in our room.

Warm welcome. Spacious room.
Dinner main meal very poor (both our meals). Based on other hotels I have stayed at, this is over-priced for what it is.

Nice rooms, ours was facing the garden at the back. I like the quarkiness of the rooms. It was good to have a restaurant in the hotel and the food was good. The staff were friendly. Also, it is located in a nice village, 10 minutes drive from Loughborough, which is where we had to be one early morning.
Not much comes to mind. A little gripe: we appreciated the Molton Brown toiletries, but only one little bottle of shower gel?

Stayed for the weekend and had a great time. The location was fantastic, with lots of things to do nearby and easy transport links. On-site parking was a real bonus. The room was clean and comfortable, and we especially enjoyed having our own bathroom. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food was great value. We also appreciated the extra touches like the complimentary toiletries.
The noise from other guests, which made it difficult to sleep at times. It wasn't a huge issue though, and it didn't spoil our stay too much.

Interesting location, pleasant atmosphere, helpful staff, interesting (but impractical - see below) room.
Impractical room; not enough lighting to read in bed, wall too thin - could hear the TV next door very easily.

The restuarant was particularly ,good and value for money ...they also take taste card ,so another saving .The twin room that my college and I stayed in was the last twin available ,so possibly not the best one ,however I was very impressed the decor was bespoke and the beds very comfortable ...so after an early start and a long working day I had a really good nights sleep .Would recommend without a doubt hotel and restuarant .The staff were all very friendly .

I like the fact it was set in a nice village and quite handy to Loughborough. The manager ia a great asset to the business.
The food was dreadful. Despite the fact we were charged £120 per night we were charged an extra £3 for four rashers of bacon. Outragous! The steak and kidney pie kept me up all night. The food was horrendous. The group on the Friday night should have been thrown out....it's not much fun trying to sleep in a room over a 'wanna be' group. A few of the staff could do with a personality transplant.
